Trust in Panama

The Trust in Panama is regulated by Law No. 1 of January 5, 1984, which is characterized by being a flexible and agile instrument that allows the disposition and administration of assets. In this sense, we have a serious and experienced financial center in the administration of Trusts in Panama.

The constitution of Trusts in Panama allows the protection of assets, which for tax and legal purposes is independent of the assets of the trustee, also offering the settlor the assurance that the assets will be used to fulfill the objectives of the trust.

It should be noted that in Panama, trust assets derived from foreign source income are exempt from income tax.

Our attorneys have experience in the preparation and issuance of securities and mutual funds, both in the local and international markets, being able to satisfactorily provide those interested with complete advice related to corporate law.
